Free Hearing Screenings

The UNM Speech-Language-Hearing Center is providing free hearing screenings for UNM Retiree Association members on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Reservations are required. Please contact Sean Jackson at 505-577-4453 or email at SHS-Admin@unm.edu by Monday, April 13, 2026 to reserve a spot for the event.

The hearing screenings will take about 15 minutes. You will complete a brief questionnaire, undergo visual inspection of the ear canal and ear drum, and receive a pure-tone hearing screening using headphones. The hearing screenings will be conducted by graduate students in UNM Master’s program in Speech-Language Pathology and supervised by audiologist Dr. Sarah Duncan.
