The Perseverance rover and Ingenuity helicopter have been exploring the surface of Mars since February, 2021. Dr. Crumpler is a member of the rover science team and has been using observations from both Perseverance and Ingenuity to map the geology along Perseverance’s traverse in much the same way as field geologists map geology here on Earth. These are some of the first field geologic maps done on another planet.  Come join us for this very interesting presentation.
