Greetings UNM Retiree Association Members,
 
It is time to make plans for the UNM Lobos at the Roundhouse Day. If you have not already done so, please let me know, (dubrakp@gmail.com), if you are coming to Santa Fe on Monday, January 27,2020. I need a head count. 
 
We will meet with Legislators concerning advocacy for the ERB proposals in HB 46. You can also go to the UNM Government and Community Relations website to review UNM’s 2020 Legislative Priorities. 
 
When: Monday, January 27, 2020
Where: The Roundhouse (Capitol) Santa Fe, East Entrance
Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Why: To meet with Legislators to advocate for HB 46  - This bill allots money directly to the ERB fund with no changes to our Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA)
Roundhouse Address: 490 Old Santa Fe Trail
Parking: FREE parking garage at 420 Galisteo St.

Itinerary:
10:00 – Meet in east lobby for packet
10:30 - You’ll each have different meetings, so from here until lunch your schedule may vary. If you finish early, you may want to inquire about getting a Capitol Tour, attend a committee hearing or observe the House or Senate sessions from the gallery.
12:30 – Lunch on your own
2:00 – Some of you may be leaving at this time. For those leaving, I will meet you in the east lobby.
 
If you plan on attending the UNM Alumni Association Legislator Reception, you need to register for the reception separately. The reception begins at 6 pm at La Fonda. I am not sure about the UNM Alumni Association’s ability to accommodate late registrations.
