UNM Continuing Education and their Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) would like invite all UNM Retiree Association Members to this unique opportunity for the Osher member event on Thursday, August 17th at no cost. Usually, you would have to be member of the OLLI) to attend this event.

About the Instructor:
Dr. Hana Samek Norton graduated from the University of Western Ontario with B.A. and M.A. degrees in history. She holds a Ph.D. and is a historian, litigation consultant for the US Department of Justice on Native American natural resources issues and an expert witness in several water litigation cases. Dr. Norton has also published two novels.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is one of 125 such organizations around the country funded through the Bernard Osher Foundation and offering academically based non-credit programming and engagement aimed at an over fifty population. The OLLI at UNM has been in place since 2007. A paid membership of $20 allows participants to attend free member lectures and register for classes through a broad spectrum of topics from Art History to Current Events, Spirituality, Psychology, Science and Culture. OLLI classes are eligible for tuition remission under Personal Enrichment.
